Dorm drug dealing
Police executed a search warrant for drugs on a second-floor room in Oxford Hall. They found one ounce of marijuana and $650 in cash in a safe on Nov. 9 at 12:45 p.m. During the search, police also confiscated a set of digital scales, plastic bags and a mirror with marijuana residue on it. Resident Michael Knortz, 18, of Orono, was issued a summons for unlawful furnishing of marijuana.

Restroom Report No. 1
An ambulance was requested to aid an intoxicated male in the third-floor bathroom of Somerset Hall at 12:37 a.m. on Nov. 9. Bradley McLead, 18, of Orono, admitted to providing vodka shots to the intoxicated male in his third-floor room. McLead was issued a summons for possession of liquor by a minor.

Restroom Report No. 2
Police received a report of an intoxicated male in a second-floor bathroom of Somerset Hall at 3:13 a.m. on Nov. 10. Officers located Zachary McIntire, 18, of Orono, who said he was fine. However, he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and had previously been issued a summons by Public Safety earlier in the semester. He was issued a summons for possession of alcohol by a minor.

Hockey fan misbehavior
A male was removed from the student balcony and charged with possession of liquor at the University of Maine vs. Providence hockey game on Nov. 10. The usher working on the balcony notified an officer that a Powerade bottle was being passed between students. The officer investigated the situation and issued a summons to William Bolduc, 18, of Orono, for possession of liquor by a minor because his Powerade bottle was half full of Captain Morgan's rum.

Intoxication observation
An officer on foot patrol observed an intoxicated male staggering outside Oxford Hall at 12:49 a.m. on Nov. 11. Charles Belanger, 19, of Orono, showed several other signs of intoxication and was issued a summons for possession of alcohol by consumption.
